Dear Friends and Family,

I am so very proud to share with you this time line of some of our many accomplishments and precedent-setting victories. It has been a long and rewarding road for me, from my years of veterinary practice, to fighting for the rights, welfare and habitats of animals these last 25 years.

It has been a lifetime of doing everything in my power to see that other species were, and are, treated with respect, dignity and compassion—that they be treated as far more than mere resources, commodities, property and things.

What could be more rewarding for a veterinarian who cared so much, and owed so much, to the animal companions he grew up with and loved, who decided to do all that he could to follow in the beliefs and footsteps of caring people like Dr. Jane Goodall, Dr. Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi, St. Francis of Assisi, Rosa Parks and Albert Schweitzer.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your faith in our efforts—for your caring and generosity—for all that you do to make the world a more just and compassionate place for all our fellow beings.

I started working at Amazon Animal Hospital when I was 16 years old to pay for my first car, after high school I went to the University of Central Florida in Orlando where i graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biology. After some traveling and time away from school, I was offered the chance to come work along side my father. Now about 12 years later, I can think of no better place to spend my days.

My father, Dr. Sergio Carvajal started Amazon Animal Hospital 24 years ago, and he is still going strong all these years later, when i ask him if he will ever want to retire he simply says smiling, "what else would i do, if not this, I love the work we do each day!"

The greatest satisfaction is knowing that at the end of each day we have helped an incredible amount of animals in our community and that our friends and neighbors put their trust in our staff and in my father, whom I have nothing but the highest respect and admiration for.

Hello, my name is Lisa and i'm here to help you with anything that you might from need from us. I've been working in the veterinary field for a couple of years, and I currently own 2 crazy cats that I spoil to death named Gemma and Oliver. I'm an avid animal lover, and i've taken care of everything from rats, lizards and a crazy hound. In my off time I love to travel, run, and attend as many music festivals as possible. I enjoy working amongst a fabulous group of people who I know will bring you the highest quality of care!

I started working with animals and their parents 16 years ago in Cincinnati Ohio. I moved to Clearwater last year, and recently started working at Amazon, where I found my perfect fit. I cannot say enough great things about the Dr. and Staff. They are kind and helpful, professional, and caring. I hope to be an asset to the practice, and an asset to our clients and their pets. I have two Grand-daughters, Rebecca and Savannah in Cinci, and two dogs, here in Clearwater, Ivy, and Roxie, both spoiled and happy rescues. Hi my name is Kyle and I'm one of the many new faces here at Amazon Animal Hospital. I realized my passion for animals at a very young age. While other kids my age would play with their dolls, I would play Veterinarian with my stuffed animals. Five years ago I made my childhood games a reality by landing a job at the local animal shelter. From there I worked for a grooming salon and pet resort. Shortly after, I became a Kennel Assistant here at Amazon. Where I take pride in my knowledge of animals and what I have to over our clients and their four legged children.

I have been a technician for 7 years and I am certified dog trainer. I moved to Florida 4 years ago from New Jersey. I have 3 beautiful baby girls and a 3year old mixed breed dog. I rescue & rehab baby squirrels and I foster for pug rescue. I have always loved helping animals and I am glad to be working in a field that I am so passionate about.
